Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 1/2
- soda - 1 tsp
- sifted flour - 2 c
- chopped nuts pecans - 1 c
- large or 4 small mashed bananas - 3 item
How to make banana nut bread:
Measure and sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream margarine and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Stir in mashed bananas. Fold in dry ingredients and nuts. Place in well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan or 8-inch square cake pan. Bake at 325° to 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Yeast breads.
