  • sugar
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • can crushed pineapple - 1 item
  • whipping cream - 1/2 pt
  • miniature marshmallows - 3/4 c
  • reserved juice - 1 c
  • can apricots - 1 item
  • orange jello mixes - 2 (3

How to make apricot salad:

Topping:1/2 c. sugar3 Tbsp. flour1 egg, slightly beaten2 Tbsp. butter1/2 pt. whipping cream1 c. reserved juice Drain fruit, reserving the juice (add water, if necessary, to have 2 cups of liquid) and chill. Dissolve jello in water and add 1 cup reserved fruit juice. Chill jello and then fold in fruit and marshmallows. Chill until firm.

Topping: Combine the sugar, flour, egg and 1 cup of remaining juice; cook over low heat until thick. Remove from heat, stir in butter and cool. Whip the whipping cream and fold into the cool mixture. Spread on top of set jello and chill until serving.
