Applesauce puffs
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
- butter or margarine, melted - 2 Tbsp
- applesauce - 1/2 c
- slightly beaten egg - 1 item
- Bisquick or biscuit mix - 2 c
How to make applesauce puffs:
Combine biscuit mix, first 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. Add applesauce, milk, egg and oil. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Fill greased 2-inch muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 400° for 12 minutes or until golden. Cool slightly and remove from pan. Mix the second 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Dip tops of muffins in melted butter or margarine, then in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Makes 18 muffin puffs.Recipe categories: Fruit, Breakfast, Apple.
