Applesauce cookies

Ingredients/Components

• shortening - 1/2 c
• sugar - 1 c
• egg - 1 item
• flour
• soda - 1 tsp
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• cloves - 1/2 tsp
• nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
• raisins - 1/2 c
• chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
• oatmeal - 1 c
• applesauce - 1 c

How to make applesauce cookies:

Cream sugar and shortening; stir in egg. Sift in dry ingredients. Mix in raisins and oats. Beat well. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 10 to 15 minutes at 375°.
