Apple strudel
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- raisins - 1 item
- lemon - 1/2 item
- bread crumbs - 1 item
- egg, lightly beaten - 1 item
- apples - 1 item
- lukewarm water or milk - 1/2 c
How to make apple strudel:
Combine the first 5 ingredients; let stand in oven 1/2 hour. Add the butter; knead in dough. Slap on table several times until it forms blisters. Roll dough on cloth from center out; stretch if necessary. Brown bread crumbs in a pan with butter until light brown. Spread on dough; fill with apples, raisins, sugar and cinnamon. Squeeze 1/2 lemon on top. Roll into a Strudel. Bake at 400° for 25 to 30 minutes, or until light brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Apple.
