Ingredients/Components
- large apples, pared, cored and sliced - 6 item
- water - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- sugar - 1 c
- flour - 1/2 3/4
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter margarine - 6 tsp
How to make apple pudding:
Place apples in deep 8-inch casserole; add lemon juice and water. Mix cinnamon with 1/2 of the sugar, sprinkle over the apples. Combine remaining sugar with flour and salt; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle over apples and pat smooth. Bake at 375° for 40 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
