Apple crumb cake
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 c
- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- flour
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- sour cream 8 oz - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- peeled apples, chopped - 3 c
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
How to make apple crumb cake:
Grease and flour Bundt pan. In large bowl, cream butter and 2 cups of sugar. When fluffy, add eggs. Stir dry ingredients in separate bowl. Beat flour mixture in cream mixture. Alternate with sour cream. Beat in vanilla. Stir apples and remaining sugar; fold in batter. Spoon 1/2 batter into pan.In a bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts; sprinkle over batter in pan. Top with remaining batter. Bake for 70 minutes in a 350° oven.
