Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- water - 1/2 c
- oatmeal - 3/4 c
- light brown sugar - 6 Tbsp
- white sugar - 6 Tbsp
- or 5 medium apples, thinly sliced - 4 item
How to make apple crisp:
Spread the apples over the bottom of greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. In mixing bowl combine sugar, flour and oats. Stir in melted butter. Spread this over apples. Pour water evenly over top. Bake, uncovered until apples are tender, about 30 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Apple, Cobblers and crisps.
