Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 1/4 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- 1 stick butter - 1/2 c
- cut up apples, peeled - 6 c
How to make apple crisp:
Arrange cut apples in a 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Add water. Combine topping ingredients; cut in butter until mixture is coated but still in crumbs. Place on top of apples. Cover pan with foil and bake 30 minutes at 350°. Uncover pan and bake 30 minutes more at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Apple, Cobblers and crisps.
