Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- pared, sliced apples - 6 c
How to make apple crisp:
Topping:3/4 c. sugar1 c. flour1 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. salt1 egg Filling: Mix together sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice; toss with apples. Put apples in ungreased 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Dot apple mixture with butter.Topping: Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Add eggs and mix to a consistency of crumbs. Pour crumbs evenly over apples. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes, until brown on top. Serves 8 to 10.
