Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- firmly packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
- Post 40% Bran flakes - 1 c
How to make apple crisp:
Arrange apple slices in a shallow baking dish. Cream the butter; blend in sugar, flour and cinnamon. Stir in cereal. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese, if desired. Serve warm. Makes 8 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Apple, Cobblers and crisps.
