  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • chopped apples - 3 c

How to make apple cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg; mix well. Stir together dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture. Stir in apples, nuts and vanilla. Pour into a greased 8 x 10-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Optional: Top with vanilla ice cream while
