Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• cinnamon - 2 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• flour - 3 c
• soda - 2 tsp
• shortening - 1 c
• nuts - 1 c
• cloves - 1 tsp
• chopped raw apples - 2 c
• cold coffee - 1 c

How to make apple cake:

Cream shortening and sugar. Dissolve soda in coffee. Add soda-coffee mixture and the rest of the ingredients to the creamed shortening. Bake in a large loaf or tube pan for 45 to 60 minutes at 350°.
