Apple butter cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1/2 c
• sifted flour
• raisins - 1/2 c
• cloves - 1/2 tsp
• apple butter - 1 c

How to make apple butter cookies:

Mix shortening and sugar until creamy. Add egg, cloves and apple butter. Sift in flour with baking powder, soda and cinnamon. Add raisins. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake in 350° oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
