Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 4 c
- water - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- raisins - 2 c
How to make raisin drop cookies:
Bring raisins and water to boil. Cook 3 minutes. Cool. Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and spices. Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in raisins. Gradually add the flour mixture, blending well. Stir in nuts. Drop by tablespoonful 1-inch apart on baking sheet.
