Ingredients/Components
- pound bacon - 1 item
- pint fresh oysters - 1 item
- 3/5 ounce tube anchovy paste - 1 item
How to make angels on horseback:
Cut bacon strips in half. Spread strips sparingly with anchovy paste. Wrap around oysters and secure with toothpicks, broil until done. Yield 3 dozen.May omit anchovy paste and replace oysters with water chestnuts, pineapple, chicken liver, or olives.
