- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- egg whites
- cream of tartar
- cake flour - 1 c
- almond flavoring - 1/2 tsp
How to make angel food cake:
Beat egg whites and salt until foamy. Add cream of tartar and beat until eggs stand in peaks. Add half of sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, and beat. Add flavoring. Sift rest of flour and sugar together and fold in carefully. Bake 75 minutes at 300°Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low fat.
