Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 3/4 tsp
• egg whites
• cream of tartar
• cake flour - 1 c
• almond flavoring - 1/2 tsp

How to make angel food cake:

Beat egg whites and salt until foamy. Add cream of tartar and beat until eggs stand in peaks. Add half of sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, and beat. Add flavoring. Sift rest of flour and sugar together and fold in carefully. Bake 75 minutes at 300°
