Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 4 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- warm water - 1/3 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Mix yeast in 1/3 cup warm water. Cut shortening into flour and sugar. Add buttermilk and yeast mixture. Mix them, then knead, roll and cut like any other biscuits.
