Chocolate caramel squares
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 6 oz
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- evaporated milk - 2/3 c
- Kraft caramels - 14 oz
- German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
How to make chocolate caramel squares:
1st: Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in double boiler.2nd: Combine cake mix, chopped nuts and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Spread 1/2 of the cake mix into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 6 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle chocolate chips over crust, then drizzle melted caramel over chips and spread. Crumble remaining cake mix mixture over top. Bake 15 to 18 minutes at 350°. Cool; cut into very small squares.
