Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • flour
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • whipped cream - 1 c
  • miniature marshmallows - 2 c
  • pineapple juice - 1 c
  • crushed pineapple, drained - 1 c
  • 7-Up - 2 c
  • boxes lemon or orange pineapple Jell-O - 2 item

How to make 7-up salad:

Topping:2 Tbsp. flour2 Tbsp. butter1 egg, slightly beaten1 c. whipped cream1/4 c. sugar1 c. pineapple juice Mix Jell-O and boiling water. Let cool. Add 7-Up. Fold in marshmallows and pineapple. Place in refrigerator until set. Combine butter, flour, egg, sugar and pineapple juice. Cook until mixture thickens. Let cool in refrigerator. Fold in whipped cream. Spread chilled topping over Jell-O. Sprinkle with chopped nuts on top. May also freeze cream cheese and grate to sprinkle over topping with nuts.
