Zucchini raisin cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1/2 c
• raisins - 1 c
• ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
• shredded, peeled zucchini - 1 c

How to make zucchini raisin cookies:

Cream shortening and sugar together. Add egg, beat well. Add zucchini and set aside. Combine all dry ingredients and add to zucchini mixture. Stir thoroughly, then add raisins. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes. Yield: 3 dozen.
