  • sugar
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/4 c
  • margarine - 1/4 c
  • bag chocolate chips - 1 (12
  • sour milk - 1/2 c
  • shredded zucchini - 2 c

How to make zucchini chocolate cake:

Cream the first 4 ingredients together with electric mixer. Add the egg, vanilla and sour milk; mix until well blended. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture; mix in zucchini last. Spoon into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle top of cake with chocolate chips. Bake at 325° for 45 to 50 minutes.

Note: You can add walnuts, if desired.
