White texas sheet cake
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 item
- flour
- water - 1 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- buttermilk or sour milk - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 2 c
- Place margarine in saucepan with 1 cup water and bring to a boil
How to make white texas sheet cake:
Combine flour, sugar, soda and salt. Place margarine in saucepan with 1 cup water and bring to a boil. Combine eggs and buttermilk; add to margarine, then pour into flour mixture. Mix until blended. Pour into large cookie sheet with rim. (Note: batter will be thin.) Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.Frosting:1 stick margarine3 Tbsp. milk1 lb. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla chopped nuts Bring margarine and milk to a boil. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix well. Spread on cake while warm. Top with chopped nuts.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low protein.
