Ingredients/Components

• white cake mix - 1 pkg
• Jell-O instant pistachio pudding - 1 pkg
• chopped pecans - 1 c
• eggs - 3 item
• club soda - 1 c
• Cover-Up Icing:1 envelope Dream Whip topping mix
• cold milk
• or more of the following: coconut, nuts, maraschino cherries - 1 item

How to make watergate cake:

Cover-Up Icing:1 envelope Dream Whip topping mix1 1/4 c. cold milk1 pkg. Jell-O instant pistachio pudding1 or more of the following: coconut, nuts, maraschino cherries Mix together all cake ingredients. Beat well. Pour batter into prepared cake pan (13 x 9-inch). Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven. Cool.

Icing: Beat first three ingredients together until thickened. Spread on cake and cover with one or more of the last three ingredients. Keep refrigerated.
