Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • 25 oz - 1 can
  • green pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • cup chopped onion - 1 item
  • cup chopped celery - 1 item
  • cup sugar - 1/2 item
  • cup oil - 1/4 item
  • cup vinegar - 2/3 item
  • green beans, drained - 1 can
  • peas, drained - 1 can
  • jar pimento pieces, sliced or diced, drained - 1 item

How to make vegetable marinade with tangy dressing:

Heat together vinegar, pepper, salt, sugar, and oil until dissolved; set aside to cool. Place vegetables in large container and pour dressing over vegetables. Mix and refrigerate. Serves 6 to 8. Add more vegetables to existing marinade when supply gets low.
