Veal marsala
Ingredients/Components
- frozen peas - 1 pkg
- cans tomato sauce - 4 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- cloves garlic, crushed - 3 item
- parsley, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- sliced mushrooms - 1 pkg
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- flour for dredging - 1 item
- Marsala wine
- veal or beef, thinly sliced - 3 lb
How to make veal marsala:
Pound meat and dredge in flour. Brown in oil. After meat has all browned, place onion, mushrooms, garlic and parsley in skillet and cook until onion is transparent, about 10 minutes. Place in pot over meat. Add tomato sauce and wine. Cook over low heat for about 2 hours. About 30 minutes before serving, add peas and continue cooking.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Veal.
