  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Pet milk - 1/4 c
  • Pet evaporated milk - 1/3 c
  • shortening, melted - 1/2 c
  • vanilla wafers, crushed
  • pecans, crushed - 1 c
  • well-beaten eggs - 3 item
  • Add vanilla wafers, flour and baking powder

How to make vanilla wafer cake:

Cream together sugar, shortening and eggs. Add vanilla wafers, flour and baking powder. Add milk. Add coconut and nuts. Bake in loaf pan 30 minutes at 350°.Icing:1 stick butter, melted1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. Pet milk Boil icing ingredients 60 seconds. Add 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat well.
