Ingredients/Components
- water - 8 c
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- black pepper - 1/2 Tbsp
- , cut in pieces - 1 chicken
- salt or to taste - 1 Tbsp
- cumin - 1 Tbsp
- green bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- tomatoes, diced - 2 lb
- cooked white rice - 2 c
- bunch fresh cilantro, chopped - 1 item
- corn tortillas, cut in strips and fried - 3 item
- guacamole sauce to taste - 1 item
How to make tortilla soup:
Cook chicken in 8 cups water 30 to 40 minutes. Set aside; cool and debone. Add tomatoes, bell pepper, onion and cilantro to chicken broth.
