Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- margarine, softened - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 2 Tbsp
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- finely chopped pecans - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
- Mixture will be thick
How to make thumbprint cookies:
Combine ingredients. Mixture will be thick. With hands, roll into small balls. Press slightly with thumb. Bake 10 to 15 minutes in 250° to 300° oven until lightly brown.Frosting:1 stick margarine, softened1 box powdered sugar8 oz. cream cheese, softened Mix and dot each cookie with frosting.
