Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • egg whites - 2 item
  • egg yolks, slightly beaten - 2 item
  • quick cooking tapioca - 2 Tbsp

How to make tapioca cream:

Mix egg yolks, milk, 2 tablespoons sugar, tapioca and salt in saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Remove from heat; cool. Stir in vanilla. Beat egg whites until frothy. Gradually beat in the 1/4 cup of sugar. Continue beating until stiff and glossy. Fold into mixture in saucepan. Spoon into dessert dishes. Serve with cream or fruit juice.
