Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 3/4 c
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- envelope onion soup mix - 1/2 item
- sliced ripe olives - 1/2 c
- small onion, thinly sliced and separated in rings - 1 item
- large tomato, cut in wedges - 1 item
- medium head lettuce, torn in bite size pieces - 1 item
How to make taco salad:
In skillet, brown meat. Sprinkle soup mix over meat; stir in water. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Combine lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, olives and cheese; toss well. Place lettuce mixture on individual salad plates. Spoon on meat. Top with corn chips.Recipe categories: Salads, Main dish, Beans.
