Ingredients/Components
- salt
- oil - 1/3 c
- lemon juice - 1/2 c
- allspice - 1/2 tsp
- bunch scallions - 1 item
- bunch fresh mint - 1 item
- bunches parsley - 2 item
- medium tomatoes, chopped fine - 5 item
- fine bulghur wheat - 2/3 c
How to make tabouleh:
Wash bulghur wheat and soak in water and set aside. Pick parsley and mint leaves, no stems, chop very fine. Chop scallion very fine. Mix in bowl with tomatoes and all spices and seasonings. Drain all the water from the wheat and add it (wheat) to the chopped vegetables. Mix well and adjust seasonings to taste.Recipe categories: Southwest asia (middle east), Asian, Lebanese.
