Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- yeast - 2 pkg
- lukewarm water - 1 c
- lukewarm milk - 1 c
- flour approximately - 7 c
- grated rind/juice of 1/2 lemon
How to make sweet roll dough:
Pour water over yeast; stir and let sit about 10 minutes. Scald milk and cool until lukewarm. Cream the butter, sugar and salt; add eggs, lemon and nutmeg. Add milk to yeast and blend in 3 cups of flour. Beat until smooth. Add butter miRecipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
