Sweet and sour pork
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- vinegar
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 2 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
- green pepper - 2 c
- pineapple juice - 2/3 c
- pineapple tidbits
- pork
How to make sweet and sour pork:
Cut pork into small square pieces. Deep fry with a milk, egg and flour batter. Set aside.Make sauce. Saute green pepper and pineapple in 2 tablespoons butter. Mix bouillon cube in 1 cup boiling water. Add pineapple juice with cornstarch, shake. Add to mixture vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour over fried pork. Serve over rice.
