Sweet and sour meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1/3 c
- brown sugar, packed
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can pineapple chunks - 1 1/4
- dry bread crumbs - 1/4 c
How to make sweet and sour meatballs:
Sauce:1/2 c. brown sugar, packed1 Tbsp. cornstarch1 Tbsp. soy sauce1/3 c. vinegar1 (13 1/4 oz.) can pineapple chunks Mix sauce and heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and add meatballs. After mixing meatballs (about twenty 1 1/2-inch balls), bake 20 minutes in 400° oven before adding to sauce. Then add 1 small green pepper.
