Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • water - 1/2 tsp
  • lemon juice - 1/3 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • ground beef
  • bread crumbs - 1/3 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • onion, chopped - 1 item
  • tomato juice - 4 c

How to make sweet and sour meatballs:

Meatballs:2 lb. ground beef1/3 c. bread crumbs1 egg, beaten1/2 tsp. water salt and pepper to taste Make sauce. Brown meatballs in hot fat. Remove and add the meatballs to sauce and simmer for 2 hours.

Make the day before and let stand in sauce for better flavor.
