Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- oil - 1/3 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- warm water - 1/2 c
- bread flour - 6 6
- dark molasses - 1/2 c
- yeast - 2 pkg
- rye flour - 2 c
How to make swedish rye bread:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Place in mixer and using a dough hook, add the remaining ingredients. Turn out on floured board and knead for 10 minutes. Shape into loaves, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with salt. Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Swedish.
