Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 3/4 c
- can cherry or peach pie filling - 1 item
How to make swedish coffee cake:
Cream 1 cup sugar and melted butter. Add other ingredients in order given, except pie filling, cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar. Spread 1/2 of batter in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Spread with pie filling. Spread remainder of batter over filling. Sprinkle with cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar. Bake 45 minutes in 350° oven.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
