Ingredients/Components

  • lemon Jell-O - 1 pkg
  • hot water, poured over Jell-O - 1 c
  • marshmallows, cut into small pieces and put into Jell-O while hot - 12 item
  • sticks celery, cut fine - 2 item
  • or 3 carrots, grated fine - 2 item
  • 2 can crushed pineapple
  • Miracle Whip salad dressing - 1/2 c
  • cream, whipped - 1/2 pt
  • cottage cheese - 1 c

How to make sunshine salad:

Add celery, carrots and pineapple after Jell-O has cooked. Mix together Miracle Whip with cream, then add cottage cheese. Mix all together. Nuts may be added if desired. Chill and serve on crisp lettuce.
