- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- warm water
- oregano - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 2 c
- sweet Italian sausage
- mustard optional - 1 item
- packet yeast - 1 item
- slices boiled ham - 12 item

- slices soft salami - 12 item
How to make stromboli:
Filling:12 slices American cheese12 slices boiled ham12 slices soft salami1 1/2 lb. sweet Italian sausage2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese mustard (optional) salt and pepper oregano Dough: Mix together the first 4 ingredients. Slowly add flour and knead. Divide into 2 parts. Brush with oil and cover. Let sit until the filling is ready.Filling: Brown sausage and drain. Roll one part of dough into a large rectangle (about 12 x 16-inches). Lay 6 slices of American cheese down the middle of dough, overlapping slices. Next, layer 1/2 the boiled ham, then 1/2 the soft salami brushed with mustard (if desired), then layer on 1/2 the sausage and finally 1/2 the Mozzarella cheese. Fold over sides and ends. Seal. Brush top with butter or egg whites. Sprinkle top with salt, pepper and oregano. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Put on cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until dough turns lightly brown. Makes 2 (16-inch) long strombolis. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
