Strawberry soup

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 Tbsp
• cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
• nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
• honey - 2 Tbsp
• Port wine - 3 Tbsp
• fresh strawberries, cleaned - 1 lb
• apple cider or juice - 1 c
• heavy cream whipping - 1 c
• sliced strawberries and sour cream to garnish - 1 item

How to make strawberry soup:

In food processor, puree the strawberries. Add cider or apple juice, cinnamon, honey, sugar and nutmeg. Just prior to serving, whisk in cream and wine. Serve in chilled glass bowls. Garnish with strawberry slices and sour cream.
