Ingredients/Components
- large container Cool Whip, thawed - 1 item
- frozen strawberries or 1 qt
- 10-inch angel food cake
- jar strawberry glaze* - 1 item
How to make strawberry shortcake:
*In place of glaze, you can use a large package of strawberry jello and half the amount of water called for on the package.Mix strawberry glaze and strawberries. This mixture should be spreadable. Pull apart angel food cake into small pieces; put half on the bottom of the bowl. Place half the strawberry mixture on top of the cake, then a layer of Cool Whip. Repeat layers. Let sit overnight in the refrigerator.
