sugar - 1/2 c
sour cream - 1 c
cold milk - 3 c
large Cool Whip - 1 item
instant vanilla pudding - 3 pkg
box strawberry jello - 1 item
box vanilla wafers - 1 item
strawberries, sliced - 1 qt

How to make strawberry pudding:

Heat strawberries, sugar and jello just enough to dissolve jello, stirring constantly. Cool. Mix pudding and milk. Add sour cream. Fold in 3/4 carton Cool Whip.

In a large 9 x 13-inch dish, layer wafers, pudding and strawberries. Repeat until all are used. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Garnish with sliced strawberries. Chill.

Note: May use bananas instead of strawberries.
