sugar - 1/2 c
sour cream - 1 c
cold milk - 3 c
large Cool Whip - 1 item
vanilla instant pudding - 3 pkg
strawberry jello
box vanilla wafers - 1 item
strawberries, sliced - 1 qt

How to make strawberry pudding:

Heat strawberries, sugar and jello just enough to dissolve Jell-O, stirring constantly. Mix pudding and milk. Add sour cream. Fold in 3/4 of Cool Whip. Layer wafers, pudding mix and strawberries. Repeat. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Garnish with sliced strawberries. Refrigerate.

Bananas may be used instead of strawberries.
