Strawberry jam
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- white corn syrup - 1 c
- crushed strawberries - 4 c
- Sure-Jell - 2 pkg
How to make strawberry jam:
Mix strawberries and Sure-Jell together with electric mixer on slow speed until well mixed; let stand for 20 minutes. Add syrup and sugar to strawberry mixture. Stir with a spoon until sugar is dissolved. Place in containers; store in freezer. Allow to set about 2 weeks before using. This jam is good on toast or biscuits and makes a delicious topping for ice cream. Yields about 10 (8 ounce) containers.Recipe categories: Strawberry, Condiments, etc., Jams and preserves.
