Strawberry cake
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- eggs, separated - 4 item
- water - 1/2 c
- oil - 1 c
- egg whites - 4 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- strawberry Jell-O
- box white cake mix - 1 item
- box frozen strawberries - 16 oz
- Mix cake mix, oil, egg yolks and flour
- remaining frozen strawberries - 1 item
How to make strawberry cake:
Dissolve Jell-O in water; set aside. Mix cake mix, oil, egg yolks and flour. Add Jell-O to batter; then stir in 3/4ths of frozen strawberries. Beat egg whites and fold into batter. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 45 minutes or until done.Icing:1 box powdered sugar1 stick oleo remaining frozen strawberries Mix together and spread over cooled cake.In loving memory of my Grandmother, Ruth Moose.
