Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- warm water
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make squaw bread:
Mix yeast in warm water. Add salt and sugar. Stir in flour and baking powder Knead in flour. Melt 1/2 cup of Crisco in a pan. Pour 2 tablespoons into the dough and knead again. Roll out dough and cut like biscuits. Place on melted Crisco inRecipe categories: Breads, Low fat, Yeast breads.
