  • sour cream - 1/2 c
  • Dijon mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • mustard - 1 tsp
  • diced celery - 1 c
  • chopped pimento - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped cashews - 1 c
  • fresh or frozen peas - 1 (10
  • garlic - 1 item
  • diced green onions - 1/2 c
  • chopped fresh cauliflower - 1 c
  • crisp cooked bacon - 1/4 c
  • prepared Hidden Valley Ranch buttermilk or milk recipe original Ranch salad dressing - 1 c
  • small clove, minced - 1 item

How to make spring pea salad:

Rinse peas in hot water or steam if fresh. Drain. Combine vegetables, nuts and bacon with sour cream; mix dressing, mustard and garlic together. Pour over salad mixture. Toss gently. Chill. Macadamia nuts or salted sunflower seeds are a good alternative. Serves 4.
