Spicy brisket
Ingredients/Components
- beef brisket
- allspice - 1 item
- beef bouillon cubes - 5 item
- Cornstarch - 1 item
How to make spicy brisket:
Place brisket, fat side up on rack of broiler pan. Fill pan with water. Sprinkle side of brisket with Allspice. Bake 6 hours at 275°. Wrap in foil and chill. Pour juice in jar and refrigerate. Slice beef 1/4 inch across grain and place in baking dish. Take fat off of juice. Heat juice and bouillon cubes and thicken with cornstarch. Pour gravy over meat. Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
