Spanish rice
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- rice - 1 c
- slices bacon - 4 item
- 2 1/2 can tomatoes
How to make spanish rice:
Cook rice in 2 cups boiling water until tender. Cut bacon into small pieces and saute in skillet until done. Remove bacon from skillet and add the beef; stir until lightly browned. Pour off fat. Add bacon and beef to remaining ingredients. Mix well and turn into casserole. Cover and bake 1 hour at 350°. Add water if needed.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
